As the on-going Alpha Test gets closer to an end, the studio behind Delta Force, the upcoming PVP Multiplayer and Extraction Shooter that features a Black Hawk Down Inspired Campaign, has updated the title of the game.
Going forward, Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be known as, Delta Force. In a statement (embedded below), Shadow Guo, the games Director said that they want “this to be *the* Delta Force game” and that the new title “bridges the gap between loyal veterans… and newcomers”.
The studio shared some additional news this week at Gamescom including that the game will be playable during Steams Next Fest in October and will be coming to Early Access later this year.
It was also stated that Console and Mobile news is coming soon.
After playing the Alpha on PC, I am looking forward to more people getting access to this game and Team Jade are part of TiMi Studio Group, the developers behind Call of Duty mobile, so all players should be expecting a good time.
