So lets break it down this last few days PlayStation has been hard a work trying to make sure that the Ps5 Pro their latest iteration of the PlayStation Is kept a secret but with all leaks that have to do with PlayStation there greatest enemies are themselves.
The 30th Birthday Easter Egg
PlayStation announced a 30th anniversary celebration event that will take place over the next few months and with it came some pretty underwhelming In my Opinion items to Add to your collection
- Shapes of Play. A new collection of products called “Shapes of Play,” crafted by the team behind the design of PlayStation consoles, gives you opportunities to create fun moments with our iconic shapes:
- Shapes of Play: Battle is a board game where you can challenge a friend to line up four different shapes of the same colour on the board to win.
- Shapes of Play: Create is a set of magnetic blocks that you can position in any direction to create fun shapes.
- Shapes of Play: Recharge lets you experience a new way to recharge between games, especially after that tough boss battle.
Its unknow if these are coming to Australia but if they do they will very expensive they also announced Digital game soundtracks and My First GT. They also dropped the 30th birthday art and with it perhaps our first look at the secret PS5 Pro.
Bilbilkun confirmed over on twitter that this was same console design that he had seen and drawn the prior week.
But Wait There’s More
The Unlisted Disaster
PlayStation Announced PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation just today and for the full story you can check out our write up here. https://1-upgames.com/2024/09/10/playstation-5-technical-presentation-announced/
And with this announcement came the discovery of an Unlisted video found on PlayStation’s YouTube channel, And the title is “PS5 Pro”
Bam case closed there you have it the Pro Exists its getting announced tomorrow haha,

PlayStation have tried to cover theirs tracks having changed the name of the unlisted video twice since the discovery First Dropping the word “Pro” the completely changing the tile altogether to “PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation – September 10”. Nice try PlayStation but the cat is well and truly out of the bag The difference between “unlisted” and “private” is an important distinction to know.
But I have to admit we are excited to finally get a look at the new PlayStation and we will be reacting to the reveal so look forward to that video over on the 1-Up games YouTube Channel.
