Capcom has announced an open beta for its upcoming action game Monster Hunter Wilds. The beta will be available on all platforms, but PlayStation Plus subscribers can get early access to it as soon as next week.
PS+
- 2pm AEDT Tuesday 29th of October until 2pm on Thursday October 31st
PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam)
- Friday, 1st of November at 2:00pm AEDT until Monday, 4th of November at 2pm AEDT
The open beta test will let Hunters create their character and Palico. Players can also play the opening mission of the game including the tutorial. Besides the main mission, players can also participate in the Doshaguma hunt, where the goal will be to defeat the alpha of the Doshaguma pack. Players can also go through the two quests in multiplayer using the SOS flare and all of this will be transferable to the full game.
There are also some participation awards everyone who participates in the open beta will receive the Stuffed Felyne Teddy and an open beta test bonus item pack rewards in the main game at launch. The bonus item pack includes the following content:
- 5x Armor Sphere
- 10x Mega Potion
- 5x Ration
- 5x Lifepowder
- 2x Max Potion
- 2x Herbal Medicine
- 2x Nulberry
I for one can’t wait to jump in and get hunting and im so glad we don’t have to wait long Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28, 2024, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
