[Updated] Forza Horizon 5 is getting a new update with Halo content

Halo props coming to Forza Horizon 5

Playground Games have announced on Forza.net a new update for Forza Horizon 5 that will feature EventLab updates and a Track Day event.

November 8th Update: Playground Games have released a trailer for the Halo content:

EventLab

EventLab is getting 71 new Halo Props, straight from Halo’s Forge mode. The highlighted items are:

  • Covenant Barricade
  • UNSC Barricade
  • Covenant Drop Pod
  • Energy Shield
  • Barrel
  • Health Pack
  • UNSC Packing Crate
  • Covenant Crate
  • UNSC Pelican
  • Totem Ring A
  • Totem Ring B
  • Totem Ring C
  • Totem Ring Chunk
  • Totem Ring Debris

Two new sky sets will also be available “Halo Sky Day” and “Halo Sky Night”. Presumably you’ll be able to stare up at the Halo ring.

Music

Three Halo songs are being added to the radio, “Halo Theme Gungnir Mix (feat. Steve Vai)” is heading to Horizon XS with “Installation 04” and “The Trails” heading to Radio Eterna.

Oval Track

The oval stadium track will be available on the second week of the Track Day event.

A track day is not a track day without a speedy companion to rush through corners in, or to floor its gas pedal on straights.

This time, the Festival Playlist reward cars feature a collection of some of the finest, modern Porsches you are going to want to unlock and take on a beautiful tour of every track available at the Horizon Festival.

Fixes & Changes

  1. Fixed an issue causing player’s level to reset after a match of Hide & Seek
  2. Fixed an issue where game crashes could break a player’s completion streak in Hide & Seek
  3. Fixed an issue in Hide & Seek where sometimes players could cross outside the border area of the Playa Azul Map
  4. Fixed the “Missing Required Keybinds” bug in the Wheel Settings menu
  5. Added the 2021 Toyota GR Yaris to the Homologation Heroes category

    I will be looking forward to all the HALO content that comes from this. But I am actually surprised they are not saving it for the next Horizon game, which, I would have thought would have been announced / leaked by now……………

    1. Agreed, and I too am surprised it has not leaked. Imagine the next entry being set just straight up on a Halo ring!

      Like
