First look at Bathurst and Ray Tracing coming to Forza Motorsport on PC

Speechless!!!

Bathurst in Forza Motorsport

Courtesy of an update posted to Nvidia.com, we have our first screenshot of Bathurst coming to Forza Motorsport, and it looks beautiful.

I have included the full 4K screenshot below, feel free to open it in a new tab!

The post on the Nvidia website talks about updates for many PC games including Indiana Jones, Marvels Rivals and Delta Force, and is worth checking out if that interests you.

The Forza write up is sharing the news that the PC version of the game is getting Ray-Traced Global Illumination Lighting.

This PC-only upgrade option enhances the game’s existing illumination technology to compute more accurate indirect lighting and occlusion across tracks and cars in real-time, amping up visual fidelity and realism.

Ray Tracing on:

Ray Tracing off:

This feature is off by default, so you’ll need to head into the settings and “set “Raytracing Quality” to “Full Reflections + RTGI”, and choose a quality level under “RTGI Quality”. ” Turn 10 have a FAQ up on their support site that gets a bit more into the detail if you’re interested.

And to bring this back to the top, Nvidia has ten screenshots on their post showcasing the new Ray Tracing feature and tucked away in there like it’s no big deal is the reveal of Bathurst. The Ray Tracing update is coming December 9th (probably December 10th in Australia) and hopefully that comes with Bathurst, otherwise, it is coming at some stage next week.
