Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date leaks via PSN

Finally a release Date!

The highly anticipated remake of “Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater,” titled “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater,” has had its release date inadvertently revealed through a premature trailer on the PlayStation Store. The trailer indicates that the game is set to launch on August 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.

This remake aims to modernize the classic 2004 title, bringing enhanced graphics and gameplay mechanics to current-generation consoles. Notably, the “Snake vs. Monkey” mode, a fan-favorite mini-game from the original, will be included in this version.

While the early trailer leak has provided fans with a glimpse of the game’s content and release date, Konami has yet to make an official announcement. The premature release of the trailer suggests that the company may be preparing for a formal reveal in the near future our guess is it was to be announced at the rumoured state of play set to happen on the 14th.

As the release date approaches, fans can look forward to experiencing the reimagined adventures of Naked Snake, set against the backdrop of Cold War tensions. The remake promises to deliver a fresh take on the original narrative, combining modern technology with the storytelling that made the original a classic.

I personally can not wait for this game to come out and knowing the release date will at least make the wait bearable for more from 1-Up be sure to check out our the story on EA Revealing Battlefield Labs.
