What’s New in Monster Hunter Wilds?
The Monster Hunter Wilds Beta has already provided a glimpse into the exciting new features that fans of the series can look forward to. Set in a completely new setting, Monster Hunter Wilds introduces a more expansive world filled with dynamic ecosystems and wild creatures that offer new hunting challenges.
There are a few new features in Monster Hunter Wilds’ Open Beta Test 2 that weren’t available in the first open beta test.
- The Base Camp’s Training Area, where you can test out weapons to your heart’s content.
- Private Lobbies, allowing you to create online sessions only you and your friends can enter.
- Online Single Player mode, where you do not have to enter multiplayer lobbies. You will still be able to use an SOS Flare to recruit players mid-quest if you desire.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2 Rewards
If you created a character during the second open beta test, you’ll receive the following rewards in the full game (not in the test) for your participation:

A special Open Beta Test Palico Pendant. This is the same pendant offered for playing OBT 1.

x10 Raw Meat
x3 Shock Trap
x3 Pitfall Trap

This is a massive W from capcom and just adds to my hype for Monster Hunter Wilds which drops for Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S on February 28.
