We got a whole bunch of new info at the latest Pokémon Presents on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the latest installment in the Pokémon Legends series, is set to launch on Nintendo Switch in late 2025. This action RPG takes players to a reimagined Lumiose City within the Kalos region, offering a fresh perspective on the Pokémon universe.
Setting and Storyline
The game is set in a future version of Lumiose City, the Paris-inspired metropolis from Pokémon X and Y. The city is undergoing significant urban redevelopment, aiming to create a harmonious environment for both humans and Pokémon. Players will explore detailed urban landscapes, including rooftops and suburban wild areas, encountering a variety of Pokémon in these settings.
Gameplay Mechanics
Pokémon Legends: Z-A introduces a real-time battle system, allowing players and their Pokémon to move freely during encounters. This dynamic approach emphasizes strategic positioning and timing, enhancing the depth of battles. Additionally, Mega Evolutions make a return, adding a layer of strategy and excitement to combat scenarios.
Starter Pokémon
Players can choose from three starter Pokémon:
