The Gears of War series, long synonymous with Microsoft’s Xbox consoles, has remained a flagship title for the platform. However, according to multiple sources within the industry, a Gears of War Collection — featuring remastered versions of the classic games — will be revealed for PlayStation 5 in the coming months, making its way to Sony’s console for the first time ever.

Extas1s is at it again this time the Xbox Leaker  has put out a new video with claims that Gears E-Day is aiming for a 2026 release and that the long-rumoured Gears Collection will be announced as a full multiplatform release this June.

If this rumour is accurate, it would mark a dramatic shift for Gears of War, which has traditionally been one of the cornerstones of the Xbox ecosystem. The PlayStation 5 would be receiving not only the core Gears of War titles but also a host of content, including DLC expansions and potentially even exclusive skins or in-game bonuses tailored for PS5 players.
