KRAFTON is reportedly developing PUBG: Black Budget, an extraction shooter that retains PUBG’s distinctive gunplay. The game is said to feature a 2.5×2.5 km map inhabited by roaming scavengers and creatures, with dynamic shrinking zones and underground boss fights. While an official trailer and release date have not been announced, leaks suggest a forthcoming release.

PUBG is approaching its eighth anniversary and will host a special live event to reveal its 2025 projects, which may include PUBG: Black Budget. The game is confirmed for PC, with potential console versions to be announced later.

Pawel Smolewski, the creative director of PUBG, is leading the development of PUBG: Black Budget.
