Palworld, the popular survival game from developer Pocketpair, is set to introduce crossplay functionality in its upcoming “Crossplay Update,” scheduled for release in late March 2025. This update will enable multiplayer interactions across all platforms, including PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac.

In addition to cross-platform multiplayer, the update will feature the ability to transfer Pals between different worlds, enhancing the game’s flexibility and player experience. To celebrate this significant enhancement, Palworld will be available at a 25% discount on both the PlayStation Store and Steam during the update’s launch period.

Palworld, which launched in early access in January 2024, has seen a surge in popularity, surpassing two million concurrent players on Steam alone. The introduction of crossplay addresses a highly requested feature, allowing friends on different platforms to team up and explore the game’s expansive world together.

Developer Pocketpair has teased that the upcoming update will include “some little surprises,” though specific details have yet to be revealed. Players can look forward to these additional features when the Crossplay Update arrives later this month.
