Award-winning composer Walter Mair has been announced as the composer for Lords of the Fallen 2, the upcoming dark fantasy RPG sequel developed by Hexworks and published by CI Games. The game is scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Mair is renowned for his versatile scoring, which ranges from epic orchestrations with 80-piece choirs to intimate electronic compositions. His recent work includes composing the score for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III in 2023, which earned nominations for both a BAFTA and an Ivor Novello Award, and is a contender for seven awards at the upcoming Game Audio Network Guild Awards.

In addition to his video game work, Mair has contributed to various films and television series, such as the Apple TV+ series Liaison, starring Eva Green and Vincent Cassel.

Lords of the Fallen 2 aims to expand upon its predecessor by incorporating more commercial elements, particularly in visual design, to attract a broader audience.
