Armed Fantasia: To the End of the Wilderness, the spiritual successor to the Wild Arms series, has been delayed beyond its original March 2025 release window. Developer WILD BUNCH Productions has not provided a new release date, stating that updates will now occur every two to three months to focus on development and securing additional partnerships.
In a message to supporters, director Akifumi Kaneko expressed regret over the delay but assured fans that progress continues, emphasizing the team’s dedication to delivering a game that meets expectations.
This delay also affects Penny Blood, the spiritual successor to Shadow Hearts, which was initially planned for a 2025 release but is now postponed indefinitely.
Both games were funded through Kickstarter campaigns, and backers are advised to monitor official channels for future updates regarding release dates and development progress.
