Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releases on PS5 on April 17

Not Long

”Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks, is set to release on PlayStation 5 on April 17, 2025. This action-adventure game follows archaeologist Indiana Jones in 1937 as he endeavors to thwart adversaries seeking to exploit a mysterious global phenomenon known as the Great Circle.

Players will navigate diverse locations, including Vatican City, Thailand, Egypt, and China, experiencing a blend of linear story-driven sequences and expansive exploratory environments. The gameplay emphasizes a combination of stealth tactics and direct combat, with Indy’s iconic whip serving both as a weapon and a tool for solving environmental puzzles.

The game was initially released for Windows and Xbox Series X/S on December 9, 2024. The forthcoming PS5 version introduces enhancements, including visual optimizations for PS5 Pro and two new whip abilities—”Open Season” and “Sleight of Hand.”

Pre-orders for all editions are now available and include the downloadable content “The Last Crusade Pack,” featuring the “Traveling Suit” outfit and “Lion Tamer” whip. A premium edition offers early access starting April 15, along with additional content such as a digital art book, the “Temple of Doom” outfit, and access to the upcoming “The Order of Giants” story DLC. For collectors, a special bundle includes the premium edition’s content plus physical items like a steelbook display case, a globe with hidden storage, an Allmaker Relic, and an adventure journal.

Bethesda’s decision to bring “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” to PS5 aligns with its recent strategy of expanding Xbox titles to other platforms, exemplified by releases like “Hi-Fi Rush” and “Sea of Thieves” on PS5.
