Sea of Thieves has announced a collaboration with Destiny 2, introducing “Lightbearer” cosmetics inspired by Destiny 2’s classes—Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. This collaboration offers a variety of in-game items, including:
- Ship Bundles: Each bundle includes class-themed Collector’s Figurehead, Collector’s Sails, Hull, and Flag.
- Lightbearer Weapon Bundle: Features Destiny-inspired weapon ornaments, such as the Ace of Spades.
- Lightbearer Costume Set: Allows players to don the attire of their chosen Destiny 2 class.
These items are available for purchase in the Pirate Emporium, with pricing as follows:
- Lightbearer Big Bundle: 4999 Ancient Coins (approximately $50 AUD).
- Lightbearer Ship Bundles: 3499 Ancient Coins each.
- Lightbearer Weapon Bundle: 499 Ancient Coins.
- Lightbearer Costume Set: 999 Ancient Coins.
Rare’s Director of Brand & Licensing, Adam Park, expressed that the collaboration was a creatively rich process, blending elements from both universes to create something fresh yet faithful to their origins.
