Nintendo have revealed a whole suite of new information about the Switch 2 at the latest Nintendo Direct including the release date of June 5th.

The following was shared:

• Same thickness as Switch 1.
• 1080p screen.
• 120 hz screen.
• LCD with HDR support.
• JoyCon 2 connect magnetically.
• SL and SR buttons are bigger on JoyCons.
• Thumb sticks are bigger.
• Both JoyCons can be used like a mouse.
• Better speakers.
• Internal Mic. Voice filtering tech.
• 3D audio support (via headphones).
• Improved stand.
• Two USB C ports.
• 256 GB faster storage.
• New dock, 1440p and 4K support. Dock has a fan.
• Plays most Switch 1 games.
• Nintendo Switch 2 games will now be red.
• MicroSD Express card support only.
• Data can be transferred from Switch 1 to Switch 2.

A new Pro controller was also shared.
