​Nintendo has introduced a feature in the upcoming Switch 2 that allows players to create and save custom controller profiles on a per-game basis. This means you can tailor your controller settings for each game, and the system will automatically apply your preferences when you launch them. ​

In addition to standard button remapping, the Switch 2’s new Joy-Con 2 controllers and Pro Controller feature extra assignable paddles on the back. These paddles can be customized to perform various functions, such as programming the screenshot function for quick captures. ​
