Nintendo has introduced a feature in the upcoming Switch 2 that allows players to create and save custom controller profiles on a per-game basis. This means you can tailor your controller settings for each game, and the system will automatically apply your preferences when you launch them.
In addition to standard button remapping, the Switch 2’s new Joy-Con 2 controllers and Pro Controller feature extra assignable paddles on the back. These paddles can be customized to perform various functions, such as programming the screenshot function for quick captures.
This per-game customization enhances the gaming experience by allowing players to optimize controls based on individual preferences and game requirements.
