Original headline: EB Games hosting conditional Midnight Launch and Breakfast Launch for Switch 2
UPDATE: Anyone can now attend a midnight or breakfast launch. The only catch left is that EB Plus customers will get served first. EB Games have updated their website here.

EB Games Australia have announced plans for a Nintendo Switch 2 midnight and breakfast launch at many stores around the country. The midnight launches will see stores opening at 9pm and the breakfast launches from 7am (8am in WA). The stores doing the midnight launches will continue trading from 8am.
The catch is though, you need a ticket, and to get a ticket you either need to be an EB World Plus member or trade your Switch 1 console in next week. It’s not clear why the limitation is in place, but best guess is either they don’t want the midnight launches getting too out of hand, or they want to sign more members up to EB World Plus as it does cost $49 annually.

Full store list can be found at the EB Games website here, additionally, below are the stores hosting a midnight launch:

The Nintendo Switch 2 is launching June 5th for $700 AUD with a Mario Kart World bundle available for $770 AUD.
