PlayStation Plus June 2025 Line-up Officially Revealed

Here’s What’s Coming

Sony has officially lifted the curtain on the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for June 2025, and this month’s selection looks to cater to both sports fans and horror aficionados. The announcement follows the start of Sony’s annual Days of Play promotion, which promises discounts, early trials, and an expanded Game Catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers.

PS Plus Essential (Available June 3)

The June drop for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers includes three new titles:

  • NBA 2K25 (PS4, PS5) – 2K’s flagship basketball sim returns with new ProPlay+ tech, deeper MyCareer integration, and a revamped City experience.
  • Alone in the Dark (2024) (PS5) – A reimagining of the survival horror classic, featuring Hollywood talent like David Harbour and Jodie Comer.
  • Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (PS4, PS5) – The Jet Set Radio spiritual successor brings cel-shaded chaos, graffiti tagging, and trick-heavy movement to PS Plus for the first time.

These titles will be available to claim starting Tuesday, June 3, and remain available until Monday, July 1.

Bonus Drop: Destiny 2 – The Final Shape

As part of Days of Play, all PlayStation Plus tiers (Essential, Extra, Premium) are getting access to Destiny 2: The Final Shape starting May 28 This marks the culmination of Bungie’s decade-long Light and Darkness saga, introducing a new location, new powers, and a story that promises to reshape the future of the franchise.

PS Plus Extra & Premium – Game Catalog Highlights

Subscribers to the higher tiers can expect several additions to the Game Catalog across the first two weeks of June:

  • Another Crab’s Treasure (PS5) – Launching into the catalog on May 29, this quirky Soulslike underwater adventure brings an unexpected level of challenge and charm.
  • Skull and Bones (PS5) – After a rocky launch, Ubisoft’s pirate title hits PS Plus on June 2, offering players a chance to explore the high seas at no additional cost.
  • Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (PS4, PS5) – Bundling past expansions like Forsaken, Shadowkeep, and Beyond Light, this arrives June 4.
  • Grand Theft Auto III (PS4, PS5) – A classic re-release of Rockstar’s 2001 open-world hit joins the lineup on June 10.

PS Plus Premium – Trials and Classics

Premium subscribers are also getting a few extras:

  • Myst and Riven (PS4, PS5) – The pioneering adventure titles make their way to the classics library starting June 5.
  • Game Trials:
    • Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (PS5) – Hands-on access starts May 28.
    • Sid Meier’s Civilization VII (PS4, PS5) – A full-featured trial for the upcoming 4X strategy title also begins May 28.

What’s Missing?

Notably absent this month is a first-party PlayStation Studios title — something many fans have come to expect from Days of Play. That said, Sony may have more announcements lined up during the rumoured upcoming State of Play broadcast, expected sometime in early June.

June’s PlayStation Plus lineup leans heavily into variety — offering a strong mix of sports, horror, indie, and legacy titles. While it may not be the flashiest month for first-party exclusives, it still manages to deliver solid value across all tiers.
