The upcoming crossover fighting game Invincible VS just got a whole lot bloodier. Skybound Games has officially confirmed that Omni-Man, the fearsome Viltrumite and father of Mark Grayson, is joining the roster as a playable character.
Omni-Man’s addition was revealed in a new gameplay trailer showcasing his devastating strength, lightning-fast strikes, and signature brutal finishing moves that fans of Invincible will recognize immediately. From high-speed aerial slams to spine-shattering punches, Omni-Man looks to be a high-risk, high-reward brawler who thrives on aggressive offense.
Much like his appearance in Mortal Kombat 1, Omni-Man’s playstyle emphasizes dominance and raw power, complete with voice work from J.K. Simmons and plenty of comic-accurate references. The reveal comes ahead of the game’s closed beta, which is expected to launch later this year.
Developed by Skybound Interactive, Invincible VS is a 2D tag-based fighter that brings together characters from the Invincible comic universe in stylized combat. Players can expect a mix of grounded brawling and superhero flight mechanics, with each character faithfully adapted from the original comics and Prime Video series.
Omni-Man will be available at launch, and Skybound has hinted that more reveals including fan-favourites like Atom Eve and Battle Beast are on the way.
Invincible VS is currently in development for PC and consoles, with a release date still to be announced.
