Lost Soul Aside Has Officially Gone Gold!

I Am Keen

After more than a decade of anticipation, Lost Soul Aside has officially gone gold, and it’s finally releasing on August 29, 2025. What began as a solo development project in 2014 by Chinese developer Yang Bing has now evolved into a fully realized, high-octane action RPG, backed by Sony and developed by UltiZero Games.

For long-time fans, this is more than just a release date it’s the finish line of a journey that started with a single jaw-dropping trailer nearly a decade ago. Yang Bing’s early footage of Lost Soul Aside, created entirely by himself in Unreal Engine, stunned the internet in 2016 with its smooth, stylish combat and gorgeous art direction. Inspired by Final Fantasy XV and Devil May Cry, the game instantly caught the attention of both gamers and publishers alike, leading to Sony stepping in to help turn the solo dream into a studio production.

Now, after 11 years of development, Lost Soul Aside is complete. “Going gold” means the game’s final build is locked and ready for physical printing and digital release no more delays, no more wondering.

The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 this August 29, bringing the full experience to both platforms. With its blend of cinematic storytelling, explosive combat, and a deep development legacy behind it, Lost Soul Aside is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year.

From a one-man dream in 2014 to a global PlayStation launch in 2025 Lost Soul Aside is finally ready.
