Stellar Blade Powers Shift Up to Record Revenues After PC Launch

The Game That Keeps on Giving

Shift Up has delivered its strongest quarter yet, thanks to the runaway success of Stellar Blade on PC. The stylish sci-fi action game, already a hit on PlayStation 5 earlier this year, roared onto Steam in Q2 and quickly became the studio’s main source of income. According to the company’s latest earnings report, Stellar Blade accounted for 58 percent of total revenue, helping Shift Up bring in 65.7 billion won roughly $47 million USD for the quarter.

The PC release was nothing short of explosive. Within its first three days, the game had already sold one million copies on Steam, setting a new record as the fastest-selling Korean title on the platform. At its peak, 192,000 people were playing at the same time, a figure that placed it among Steam’s top-concurrent titles during its launch window.

Critical reception on PC has been overwhelmingly positive. With more than 98 percent of user reviews rating it favorably, the port has been praised for its smooth performance, refined controls, and faithful translation of the PS5 experience.

When combined with earlier PlayStation sales, Stellar Blade has now moved over three million units worldwide. For Shift Up, that milestone represents more than just commercial success it signals the company’s arrival as a major player in the global action-game scene, and a reminder that Korean developers can compete at the very highest level.
