inZOI Set for PS5 Launch in Early 2026, Xbox Version Still Up in the Air

Xbox release under consideration but not yet confirmed

Inzoi Studio has confirmed that its ambitious life simulation title inZOI will be making its way to PlayStation 5 in early 2026. The announcement puts an end to months of speculation following the game’s initial PC reveal, and it marks the first time the studio has locked in a console release window.

While PlayStation fans can now circle a vague but promising release period on their calendars, Xbox players will have to wait a bit longer for clarity. Pearl Abyss noted that an Xbox version is “under consideration,” though no formal commitment has been made. The company did not offer a timeline for when a decision might be reached, leaving the possibility open but uncertain.

First unveiled in late 2023, inZOI has drawn attention for its detailed virtual environments, extensive character customization, and wide range of player-driven activities. Early previews have likened it to an open-world sandbox where everyday life is the main adventure, blending simulation, social interaction, and creativity.

Inzoi Studio says the PS5 version will be designed to take advantage of the console’s hardware, promising improved visuals, faster load times, and a smoother gameplay experience compared to earlier builds shown on PC. More information, including a concrete release date and new gameplay footage, is expected to arrive in the coming months.

For now, the biggest certainty is that inZOI will land on PS5 in early 2026, while Xbox players remain in wait-and-see mode.
