The upcoming horror title Halloween has received its first major update, with a new gameplay showcase and an official release date announcement.
The reveal highlighted the game’s tense, atmospheric design, drawing inspiration from classic survival horror while introducing modern mechanics. Players can expect a mix of stealth, exploration, and combat as they attempt to survive against the relentless threat of Michael Myers. The footage showcased dimly lit environments, resource management, and unpredictable AI behaviour designed to keep tension high throughout every encounter.
Alongside the gameplay reveal, the developers confirmed that Halloween will launch on September 8, 2026. The release will cover PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with no word yet on a Nintendo Switch version.
