SEGA has revealed a surprise collaboration for its arcade racer Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, announcing a brand-new crossover DLC featuring Mega Man.

The DLC will introduce Mega Man as a playable racer, complete with his own themed vehicle inspired by the Blue Bomber’s classic design. In addition, players can look forward to a Mega Man–themed track, packed with visual nods to iconic stages from the series, including retro platforming hazards reimagined for high-speed racing.

SEGA also confirmed that the crossover will feature new music tracks, remixing familiar Mega Man tunes to fit the game’s fast-paced racing style. Customization options such as character skins and emblems based on Mega Man’s allies and villains are also expected.

The collaboration marks the latest in a growing lineup of crossover content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, expanding its roster and appealing to fans of both franchises. While SEGA has yet to provide a release date for the DLC, the announcement has already sparked excitement across Sonic and Mega Man communities alike.
