Nintendo has officially announced that its next retail location, Nintendo Fukuoka, will open to the public on Friday, November 14, 2025. The new store will be located on the 8th floor of Amu Plaza Hakata, a major shopping complex directly connected to JR Hakata Station one of the busiest transit hubs in southern Japan.
This marks Nintendo’s fourth official store in Japan, joining existing locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. It’s also the company’s first store in the Kyushu region, a move that highlights Nintendo’s growing interest in connecting with fans beyond Japan’s major metropolitan areas.
According to Nintendo, the Fukuoka location will offer the same kind of hands-on experience seen at its other stores. Visitors can expect a mix of hardware, software, and merchandise everything from consoles and accessories to themed apparel, plush toys, and collectibles based on the company’s most popular franchises. As with other stores, it will also serve as a place for announcements, promotional events, and interactive displays tied to upcoming game releases.
In the company’s announcement, Nintendo described the new shop as “a space where people of all ages can experience the joy of Nintendo together,” emphasizing the goal of creating a welcoming, family-oriented environment that celebrates the company’s long history and creativity.
