BLEACH: Soul Resonance Heads West Later This Year

Why does everything I love only come to mobile

Fans of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH have waited years for a modern, high-quality adaptation that captures the rush of its sword fights and it looks like that wait is nearly over. BLEACH: Soul Resonance, a 3D action RPG based on the beloved anime and manga, is officially coming to western territories later this year, with Crunchyroll Games handling publishing in English-speaking regions.

A faithful recreation of the Soul Society

Developed by Nuverse and A PLUS JAPAN, Soul Resonance promises fast, fluid combat and cinematic visuals that stay true to the source material. Players will be able to switch between characters mid-battle, chaining together flashy combo attacks that reflect the unique powers and personalities of Ichigo, Rukia, and the rest of the BLEACH cast.

Early footage shows familiar settings like Karakura Town and the Seireitei, recreated in full 3D. There’s a clear emphasis on both spectacle and authenticity every swing of a zanpakutō looks and sounds like it came straight from Studio Pierrot’s animation desk.

Global launch this November

According to multiple reports, the game will arrive globally on November 21, 2025, for iOS and Android devices. It’s being distributed through Crunchyroll Games in regions such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, while A PLUS JAPAN will oversee launches in parts of Europe and the Middle East.

Pre-registration is already live across app stores, and early sign-ups will receive several in-game bonuses, including summon tickets, upgrade materials, and a mystery character card once global milestones are met.

Crunchyroll’s growing game push

This is the latest in a growing lineup of anime-based titles under the Crunchyroll Games label, joining releases like One Punch Man: World and Street Fighter: Duel. For BLEACH fans, though, Soul Resonance might be the one that finally nails the balance between gameplay depth and anime authenticity.

The combat system has drawn comparisons to console-quality action games, with responsive dodges, parries, and super moves that let players unleash each character’s iconic Bankai. Combined with full Japanese voice acting and striking cel-shaded visuals, the game feels positioned as both a nostalgia trip and a genuine action experience.
