Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Orders Go Live, Showcase Date Confirmed

Pre-Orders are Live

Capcom has officially opened pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem, the next mainline entry in the legendary survival horror series. Alongside the announcement, the publisher confirmed a dedicated showcase set for early next year, promising a deeper look at the game’s setting, characters, and gameplay direction.

The game is set to launch on February 27, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. This marks the first Resident Evil title built natively for current-generation hardware, and early footage hints at a darker, more psychological approach than its predecessor.

Capcom has rolled out several versions for players to choose from. The Standard Edition includes the base game and an exclusive “Apocalypse” costume for the new protagonist, Grace. The Deluxe Edition adds a handful of in-game extras including bonus weapon skins, a character charm pack, and alternate outfits while the Collector’s Edition offers physical collectibles such as a steelbook case, art cards, and a lenticular print.

Retailer-exclusive items have also been spotted. Depending on your region, pre-ordering from specific outlets might include posters, tote bags, or enamel pins. Australian retailers like EB Games and JB Hi-Fi are expected to list their own local bundles in the coming days.

Towards the end of the video, a Resident Evil Showcase is announced, and is planned to release early 2026. While there’s no specific date, it’s likely taking place in very early January as Requiem releases February 27th.
