Nintendo and LEGO are teaming up once again, and this time the collaboration is headed straight for Hyrule. A brand-new The Legend of Zelda LEGO set has been confirmed for release in 2026, giving fans another chance to build one of gaming’s most iconic worlds brick by brick.
While LEGO hasn’t shown the full model yet, the reveal alone was enough to set off a wave of speculation. After the success of the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set, fans have spent months guessing what the next build might be. Some are hoping for Hyrule Castle in its pre-Calamity glory, while others are convinced it’ll be something tied to Tears of the Kingdom. A few optimists are even calling for a full diorama of the Temple of Time.
Whatever shape it takes, LEGO is positioning the new set as a “flagship build,” a label it usually reserves for the bigger, more detailed kits aimed at adult collectors. That’s led many to expect something with a sizeable piece count and a more display-focused design, rather than the play-set style of smaller Nintendo collaborations.

A Growing Partnership
The timing makes sense. LEGO’s relationship with Nintendo has only grown over the last few years, expanding from Super Mario interactive kits into premium builds that celebrate classic franchises. Zelda has always felt like the natural next step its art direction, iconic locations, and mix of fantasy elements lend themselves well to LEGO’s design language.
And with Zelda’s global popularity at a new peak thanks to Tears of the Kingdom, LEGO is clearly ready to capitalise on the momentum.
What Fans Want to See
The early wish-lists floating around social media look almost endless, but a few favourites keep popping up:
- A full Hyrule Castle interior with a Ganon showdown
- The Master Sword pedestal as a detailed display model
- A Sky Island set with Zonai architecture
- A reconstruction of Kakariko Village or Zora’s Domain
Until LEGO lifts the curtain, all of that remains guesswork though knowing the fanbase, half the fun is in the speculation.
Launching in 2026
The exact release window hasn’t been pinned down yet, but LEGO confirmed the set is in active development and planned for a 2026 launch. More details are expected sometime next year, likely during one of Nintendo’s major showcase periods.
For Zelda collectors, LEGO enthusiasts, or anyone who just wants another excuse to revisit Hyrule, 2026 is shaping up to be a big one.
