Call of Duty Mobile Is Getting a Street Fighter Crossover This December

Interesting

COD Cross Street Fighter

In a year packed with unexpected gaming partnerships, here’s one crossover that genuinely came out of left field. Call of Duty Mobile is gearing up to welcome a handful of icons from Street Fighter, marking a surprising blend of two very different worlds. The event kicks off on December 11, and it arrives just in time for the mobile shooter’s sixth-anniversary celebrations.

A Crossover Nobody Really Predicted

Despite how often Call of Duty Mobile pulls in guest characters from other franchises, Street Fighter wasn’t exactly high on anyone’s bingo card for 2025. Yet here we are: a full collaboration that introduces four of the most recognizable fighters Capcom has ever created.

According to the early details, the partnership will roll out in two stages. The first begins on December 11, when the Hero’s Collection Operator Series Armory opens and officially adds the Street Fighter roster to the game. The characters included are:

  • Ryu
  • Chun-Li
  • Akuma
  • Cammy
  • Luke

Each one arrives as a playable Operator, complete with their own themed flair adapted to CODM’s fast-paced style.

More Content Arriving Later in the Week

The collaboration doesn’t stop with character skins. Just two days later, on December 13, players will get access to the Champion’s Collection Weapon Series Armory. This second wave includes new weapon skins inspired directly by the Street Fighter universe another layer of crossover content for players diving into the event.

Expect themed rewards, event challenges, and limited-time cosmetics woven into the usual seasonal grind. CODM has never been shy about going big with collaborations, and this one seems no different.

A Perfect Fit for COD Mobile’s Live-Service Momentum

Call of Duty Mobile remains the most content-rich entry in the franchise, largely thanks to its willingness to experiment. If anything, this Street Fighter crossover reinforces why the mobile version continues to dwarf the annual console releases in terms of creativity and surprises.

Over the years, the game has hosted everything from Gundam and NieR to Rambo and even Lionel Messi. Adding Ryu and company to that list somehow feels both bizarre and perfectly on-brand.

Whether you’re a long-time Street Fighter fan or someone who simply enjoys collecting limited-time cosmetics, this event looks like an easy win for the COD Mobile community and a fun way for the game to cap off its anniversary celebrations.
