Sony and HoYoverse are once again leaning into Genshin Impact’s global popularity, with a limited edition Genshin Impact DualSense controller officially confirmed for release in February 2026, including an Australian launch.
The controller features bespoke artwork inspired by Teyvat, blending PlayStation’s standard white DualSense shell with themed iconography, colour accents, and character motifs pulled directly from the long-running action RPG. While Sony hasn’t gone deep on technical changes, this appears to be a cosmetic limited edition rather than a hardware revision, following in the footsteps of previous PlayStation collaborations.
Australia is confirmed to be part of the initial rollout, which is notable given that some prior themed DualSense controllers launched in limited regions or with staggered availability. Local retailers have opened pre-orders.
This continues PlayStation’s broader strategy of tying major live-service titles more closely to its hardware ecosystem. Genshin Impact remains one of the most-played games on PS5 globally, and themed peripherals have proven to sell out quickly especially among collectors.
