Blizzard Entertainment has outlined a multi-week run of reveals detailing what’s next for its biggest franchises, with showcases planned for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Diablo. The announcements will roll out between January 29 and February 11, as teased in a new video celebrating the studio’s 35th anniversary.
In the video, Blizzard framed the upcoming presentations as more than just routine updates.
“For 35 years, Blizzard has been shaped by the worlds we build and the players who bring them to life,” the studio said. “You’ve fought through World of Warcraft, battled in Diablo, played your cards in Hearthstone, and held the line in Overwatch. We’ve come a long way together. And now, the next chapter begins.”
Blizzard went on to explain that each game will get its own moment in the spotlight over the coming weeks, positioning these reveals as part of a broader direction for the company rather than isolated announcements. According to the studio, the showcases are meant to reflect where Blizzard is heading alongside the players who have stuck with its games for decades.
Blizzard Entertainment president Johanna Faries echoed that sentiment, calling the upcoming reveals a major moment for the company. She said Blizzard’s teams have put together a “stellar line-up” across its universes, adding that the showcase comes at a fitting time as the studio reflects on 35 years of history while setting its sights on the future. Faries also noted that this is only the beginning of what Blizzard plans to share about its games throughout the year.
