Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced a delay for Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, pushing the game back from its previously confirmed March 19, 2026 release date to an unannounced window.

The remaster, which was slated to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, will now arrive at a later date that has yet to be shared. No revised release window was offered alongside the announcement.

In a statement addressing the delay, producer Tomohiko Sho explained that the decision was made to ensure the game meets fan expectations particularly given its significance to the franchise.

“As the first remaster of the Dynasty Warriors series, in order to fully satisfy our fans, we have made the decision to further improve the quality of the game,” Sho said. “The new release date will be announced at a later date. We appreciate your patience as we take a little more time before the game releases.”

Originally, Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered was set to launch on March 19, 2026, which would have landed on March 20 in Australia due to the time difference.

The remaster marks the first time Koei Tecmo has revisited one of the franchise’s classic entries in this form, making it a notable release for long-time fans of the long-running musou series. Given that context, the extra development time appears aimed at ensuring the project lives up to both nostalgia and modern expectations.

As always, we’ll keep an eye out for updates and report back once Koei Tecmo shares a new release date.
